Taken from the album, 'Summer Valentine', available now via Tica Douglas.
Tica Douglas on the song:
"This is the first song off of my latest album, 'Summer Valentine'. I wrote the album while home in Maine for the Summer, and recorded it the following Winter in an old barn house in upstate New York. The barn house recording gives a warmth to the track, and it's made even warmer by the boy backup singers that grace the end.
What the song is about can be summed up in one of its lines - 'it's hard to be a saint on the ground'."
